michsnowfreak
It looks like northern Ohio and northern Indiana, as well as, possibly the Detroit area, and Pennsylvania, may see 1-3" from the Tuesday-Wednesday clipper. (Note: now the TropicalTidbits web site does not have extreme snow-liquid ratios anymore. Levi Cowan has recently set all snow-liquid ratios to 10:1.) DTX discussion gfs_asnow_neus_13.png Two waves of snow appear likely. One Tuesday one Wednesday.
weatherbo
Unfortunately, it also means our weather is extremely boring. As for the next couple day, I'd rather be in Southern MN. Probably won't even receive an inch up here.did you recently move north? Also just noticed your tag, congratulations!
Brewers
did you recently move north? Also just noticed your tag, congratulations! Thanks! Took a met job here in the Twin Cities. Should be my home for the foreseeable future.
cyclone77
Picked up 0.02" of rain this evening. Not even enough to wash the salt off the roads lol.
Stebo
I don't know about tonight's clipper, the radar has that "it's too dry" look to it.

michsnowfreak
Seems like we look to be good for two waves of snow the next few days. Model qpf for dtw ranges from 0.15" (gfs) to 0.35" (nam) with gem in the middle (like 0.20"). Wednesday looks to be the more "significant" wave. IWXwx
Thanks! Took a met job here in the Twin Cities. Should be my home for the foreseeable future. michsnowfreak
Now dtx is going 1-2 today and 1-2 tomorrow. If I were a forecaster I would go less than an inch today and 1-3" tomorrow. Although no individual one has stood out, this has been the most clippery winter in a while.
BadgerStateWX
thin weenie band set up for a time this am that produced times of mod snow and dropped around an inch.
Brewers
Congrats on your new job, location, and red tag. Are you going to change your name to Twins? Not a chance, sports in this city seems a bit depressing at this time anyways. Btw thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Geos
Little bit of slushy accumulation in Racine I noticed, not much accumulation elsewhere. Forecast calling for 1-2" tonight into Wednesday. Currently a damp, cold 33°.
TimChgo9
Pretty much bare areas now. Snow is gone from my front yard, and the grassy areas around the high school across the street. The parking lot for the car repair place across the commuter lot is a puddly, muddy mess, which makes everything look worse.

Ajdos
Lost a good 3-4" with around an inch left (last couple of days), looks like will regain that with the couple of clippers. Light snow continues.

Chinook
Today is the 30th anniversary of Chicago's all-time record cold temp (-27). Interestingly, it is now the 31st anniversary of Toledo's all time record cold temp (-20). Jan. 20 1985, was mentioned as the record-setting date for Chicago. At Toledo, Jan. 20, 1985 was within a couple degrees of the record of Jan. 21, 1984. (-20) If they had Twitter in 1985, then that map that was posted definitely would have brought about the hashtag #Polarvortex.
smoof
I've been having a nice little "surprise" snow here in Central MI. Nice little blob of light to moderate snow just sitting over the area for hours now (that no models were showing), must have 1" now maybe get another half inch yet
cyclone77
Our 0.4" that fell early this morning was gone by noon. Muddy mess out there lately with all the melting snow.
