eekuasepinniW
Actually this looks like its becoming more of a pedestrian event then anything significant indeed... like probably 99.3% of everything that has ever been discussed on these boards. tamarack
12z Nam and GFS have shaved off qpf for tonight tomorrow, Actually this looks like its becoming more of a pedestrian event then anything significant GFS temps for AUG, WVL, RUM top out at 50, 46, 42, respecitvely, and don't hold there all that long. The surviving snowpack won't be pretty, but will set a nice base for what (one hopes) will soon cover it.

HIPPYVALLEY
Good Maybe this translates to less damage to Ski Resorts Meh' rain sucks but still 30's up North. There will be damage to the base but nothing catastrophic. Just need help from Mother Nature the next few weeks with more than just good snow making temps. CapturedNature
Absolutely no windows open in winter. Nothing says Merry Cmas like opening windows to let the gnats, winter moths and flying black ants that will be hatching this week inside. lol...if you read old homemaker books they specifically recommend opening up houses on warm sunny winter days to air the house out. I have no problem opening a door if the outside temp is warmer than my house. I can't stand stuffy houses that are sealed tighter than a you know what. The temp has been slowly climbing here (like most eastern sites). Up to 56° now.
