yhbrooklyn
This doesn't mean much since a calendar year is a weird combination of two different winters, but the recent 1" in NYC put us at 50.0" for 2014 (Jan-Dec). That is 14th all-time. (It was actually already 14th at the end of February last year. We've had almost no snow since then). We need 2.9" the rest of the month to break into the top 10. Anything higher than #9 will require a SECS/MECS Here is the top 14. Year Snowfall 1896 - 64.0 1996 - 61.3 2010 - 59.1 1948 - 58.9 1947 - 58.9 2003 - 58.1 1907 - 57.2 1916 - 57.1 1923 - 52.9 1978 - 52.8 1883 - 52.5 1967 - 51.1 1917 - 50.6 2014 - 50.

Only 16 have broken 50" using seasonal, so it isn't just the calendar year.
WintersGrasp
Yh....Do you know where 2014 stands in the list for top January/February snowfall? Since it was #14 already just including those 2 months, I am sure it puts it much higher as far as that goes. Most other years I'm sure there was at least another few inches in March and then December later that year
