Jon
Well, they were not even calling for much rain today. I just wonder if this winter will be hard to predict. Yeah, odd system that overproduced just enough to make everyone second guess the local meteorologists...lol. I heard NWS getting a bunch of angry calls, no one can just enjoy a surprise. As far as the rest of the winter, I doubt the other systems following will be the type that "fool" the mets. The pattern should allow good modeling, or I hope. It didn't help that a lot of modeling freaking crashed yesterday.

Cold Rain
Who in the world is angry over a few flakes, a couple of sleet pellets, and some light cold rain? Some people need something to do, apparently.

Some people need something to do, apparently. Exactly. That makes absolutely no sense. Especially since it didn't cause any traffic issues. jburns
Doesn't anyone else find it a bit funny that 9 days, with over 750 posts, were spent in this thread, dissecting and analyzing every conceivable aspect of this "storm", and the result is a few flakes and multiple posts saying, "Wow!! No one saw this coming. Nice surprise".

WxKnurd
Had a brief, 30 sec to one minute sleet sprinkle while walking in the woods an hour ago, totally random and didn't believe what I was seeing/hearing at first.
