usedtobe
Here's the two week outlook I wrote today. Week one looks pretty dull. kind warmish and dry once you get past tomorrow. The week leading up to Christmas is interesting. It's still not a great pattern but is improving for those who like snow. For snow lovers the good news is that it looks at least as good as climo,, maybe a tad better. The bad news is climo is pretty low.http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/capital-weather-gang/wp/2014/12/11/two-week-outlook-snow-chances-increase-to-slightly-above-normal-leading-into-christmas/
nflwxman
Great write up as usual, Wes. The Euro ENS are showing the storms but not necessarily the cold.

The Euro ENS are showing the storms but not necessarily the cold. That's our big problem. Doesn't mean we can't luck out if something like the euro occurs but argues for remaining pretty conservative. If the GEFS ens mean is correct beyond xmas, then the pattern would be pretty doggone good but that a big if

WxUSAF
Nice work, Wes. If you write an outlook at this time next week, I'm cautiously optimistic it could be exciting.

I certainly hope that's true cause I'll be writing one and like the trend of the pattern for whatever that is worth.
