TheSnowman
OK Guys - Here are your List of JACK's!! Hillsborough County takes the Cake by a Mile but the NE Massachusetts area near Gloucester is also great. My hometown only won a duet situation (I counted 2 systems with significant snow within 5 days as it's Own Jackpot) sadly. But the most impressive piece of all - STAFFORDVILLE, CT Winning THREE Events in January of 2011, Including the Blizzard of 2011. I guess that's why Tolland County is such a Big hit on here. The City of Tolland only won once, and it was a small event. Francestown, NH was involved in 14 Events as a Winner or Co-Winner, and Shockingly Warwick, RI, the TF Freaking Green region, the Snowhole of Snowholes, was involved in 5 Wins of its own.I May be the most annoying Weenie when I'm getting 2" of Snow and then tons of Rain while Everyone W, N, and even NE of me is getting 6" + (Like a few weeks ago?), but I'm your guy when it comes to hours of putting stats together.Enjoy!! :cory: :cory:1997-1998: DRACUT MA (2 FEET of Snow and only one At 2 Feet) (The 8” Per Hour Storm) WARWICK RI JAFFREY NH MT WACHUSETT/PRINCETON MA EAST BRIDGEWATER MA monadnocks
So it's obviously not a win today here in the Monadnocks but for other storms, come see us! Peterborough is adjacent to Greenfield which is next to Francestown. I'd be surprised if the Peterborough / New Ipswich storms totals didn't also have high amounts in Temple and in Sharon but with relatively small populations, they probably don't have anyone reporting. And Peterborough is next to Jaffrey which shows up on some of the lists. Rindge is next door to Jaffrey also.

TheSnowman
They are just and only for the counties that BOX covers, which most of the people in this board are from that specific region. If it's not in the final reports I won't have it. The storm a couple of weeks ago isn't up yet for instance. It was the most organized way to do it. Ya - The Tolland peopte aren't getting off that easy just cause they only won 1 event. Ray won None! But had a couple of 3rd places or so. Haverhill and Ashfield had MANY Top 3's. And life 3 other major hobbies haha. But it's set up so that Anyone or me could easily go do that. It's all in order or the reports on BOX and I mentioned the major ones which I thought was enough. We really need to know who won a 7.4" event?

tamarack
Using an arbitrary definition of jackpot: My total being at least 90% of the highest reported total in the general region for a storm 10"+, I've had three such events since moving here in May of 1998: March 30-31, 2001: 19.0" only "full" jack. Next highest was Farmington with 18.0" Feb. 22-23, 2009: 24.5" Farmington tops with 26.6" April 1-2, 2011: 15.1" Bangor had 15.4". That's about as far as I'd go for "general region."
