Ginx snewx
None of us knew an epic Grinch storm was coming, that's mostly why it's funny to me now.hmm,

jamesnichols89
While it may not bring a White Christmas this year, we will get a warm and dry Christmas Day with temps in the 50s. Also a snowy New Years is more likely with two potential storms coming between the 29th and 31st.
SouthCoastMA
we will get a warm and dry Christmas Day with temps in the 50s. If it's dry, i'd consider that a win.

Whineminster
Unfortunately no white Christmas, but fortunately other people are in the same boat and the MA tropics aren't left out on this one
SouthCoastMA
Unfortunately no white Christmas, but fortunately other people are in the same boat and the MA tropics aren't left out on this one so other people not having a white christmas makes you feel better? Whineminster
so other people not having a white christmas makes you feel better? No I'm saying the opposite of that, perhaps it will make people on the cape feel better that inlanders also won't have a white Christmas. No one likes to be left out! jamesnichols89
It honestly doesn't make a difference to me who gets a white Christmas that I can't have, I just know the next few years will be different.
weathafella
It honestly doesn't make a difference to me who gets a white Christmas that I can't have, I just know the next few years will be different. True. It will be worse.
jamesnichols89
there is nothing worse for Christmas Day than having no snow otg and having a heavy rainfall with temps in the 50s, doesn't get any worse than that for a snow lover wanting a White Christmas. jamesnichols89
The biggest snowstorm to hit Cape Cod and I can't remember a single detail from it was back in February 25-26th 1999 Nor'easter, about 50-100 miles southeast of the Cape track, great comma head, superb cloud formation, and a deep surface cyclone brought 24" of snow to Cape Cod, MA my hometown of Harwich, MA and I can't remember what that was like. James, some of the big KU storms of the 1960s dumped a lot of snow on the cape. Check out 12/11-12, 1960. Also, 2/3-4, 1961. Of course one of the benefits of being old is having had the opportunities to experience those great storms.
