MAG5035
Can't believe that's the best we can do with this setup. Yea I mean the track itself is absolutely workable for bigger snow, especially in your neck of the woods.. gonna have to have a more in depth look when I get the full set of products for the Euro run here in a bit. anotherman
Euro looks amazing for the LSV. Bring it on!
MAG5035
From NY Forum: Just gotta remember since it's total snowfall out to 120 hours is including snowfall from today's clipper as well as the clipper that's following right on the heels of the big storm, which is why the rest of PA outside of the southeastern quarter of the state is lit up with 3"+
MAG5035
Just hit the 2" mark here with moderate snow continuing. Maybe one more heavy burst before the looming back edge gets here within the next hour or so.
canderson
I need to change my pants after seeing that Euro run for HBG. Too bad it won't come close to happening.

Thanks Mag! As always appreciate your insights. Right now here very light snow maybe 1/2" if lucky.
CarlislePaWx
I am delayed in leaving so here's another update as of 2:00pm... I just hit the 2.0" mark which makes the storm a "success". If the ground is completely covered it's a success. Temp up slightly to 28.6 with steady snow continuing. Estimated rate now around 0.3" / hr. Eskimo Joe
Patience folks this is a marginal, thread-the-needle event. Give it until 12z tomorrow.
NortheastPAWx
Patience folks this is a marginal, thread-the-needle event. Give it until 12z tomorrow. Please forgive me if I do sound antsy. I'm sick of getting burned in these setups...how many big storms can possibly fringe us?

MAG5035
Back edge is here, gonna be calling it at 2.3" for storm total...not too bad. Brings season total to 15.4" and 7.6" for the month.
CarlislePaWx
Lol....mother nature pulling a last-minute practical joke. After diminishing to flurries (and thinking it was over since the back edge on radar is less than 10 miles away), it suddenly picked up to heavy.....and it's the heaviest rate of the entire storm!!! Last measurement 2.3". Edit... Easily going to reach 2.5" and maybe a little bit more. VSBY down to less than 0.5 miles. Wild!

Santa Clause
Think we do the worst in both storms PSU. How'd you do in the November storm?? It's saving us right now lol.
CarlislePaWx
Absolutely crazy...it snowed heavily for around 20 minutes and now is diminishing back to light (and presumably the end?). Just measured 2.5" exactly. Fun times for sure. Temp 28.6. High today was 29.3 which occurred back around 10:00am just as the snow was starting. All my patients ended up rescheduling for this afternoon so no work for me today other than to take snow measurements!

MAG5035
Pretty steady freezing drizzle settled in not too long after the snow shut off, putting a bit of a crust on top of the snow and in general making things just lovely. 27ºF currently. Down our way we often get skunked with Clippers. This year we're 2-2 with both systems thus far dropping at least 2". Nice surprise.
