Only 67 days to go until Spring starts. Only 39 days to go until the chances of significant snow begin to rapidly decrease. The rising sun angle is already becoming noticeable. In about another week I'll be able to make it home from work in daylight. Soon it will be time to start the countdown to Spring thread.

Depressing

Look, next year the Mets are going to be competitive (hell they might be this year), so look forward to that.

I agree, I just wish they would do more in the offseason. You see teams like San Diego drastically alter their roster for the better, and we sign Michael Cuddyer? Flores and Murphy as starting middle infielders is not what World Series contenders are made of.

That thread realistically could have been started on December 1st.

This is a hobby ..some want snow ...some don't ..but for the people who want snow have a right to be disappointed.. Just like those who look forward to summer and get a rainy cool season. .does happen ..so with that being said. My winter hopes exist from now until March 7...after that yeah can snow but for city folk coasties. Etc. Mostly garbage snow ..time will tell

In other words, nothing's going to change at all. ;)

I'm not a big NASCAR fan but I always get excited when the Daytona 500 is on. To me that's the real start of the Spring season. Spring break is in full swing and you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

They were advertising The Masters on CBS this weekend during the football game and I have to admit that it excited me. Golf is just around the corner.

What was wrong with that post?

That was not terrible given the time table. I hope that you show equal criticism the next time someone makes a similar post.

Honestly, there wasn't much wrong with it at all. You have one of the biggest trolls in Eastern/Amwx history doing what he does best. And let allsnow slide...he's clearly not having a very easy time right now.

True, but how has the CMC done overall this winter with regards to these kinds of prognostications?

Stop encouraging doorman. What exactly has he been spot on about? January has been below average temp-wise which has been most of the discussions with him...not fantasy snow storms.
