Best pizza in the metro areas....Mama Roma's in Odenton. Could go for some now.

vace's pizza in bethesda and cleveland park makes a good pie.

blaze pizza surprisingly doesn't suck.  they have one at montgomery mall.  it's not premium pizza by any means, but for fast-casual pizza it's passable.

Uh, I think we were comparing fast food...so yes its relatively healthy. You dont wanna get into it with me on healthy eating, trust me.

i suppose chipotle is relatively healthy.  i knew a girl who was a real good tennis player (she smoked me) and lifted like every other day, and made a comment (part in jest but mostly serious) that it's got all the food groups.  it's definitely better than mcdonalds, etc, as far as i'm concerned.

Absolutely. You can avoid  GMOs(they tell you what on the menu is, and its only a few items) and wheat products. Go get a bowl with meat, beans, salsa and loads of guacamole. I work out 5 times a week so bring on the calories. A little fat doesn't bother me either, as most of the fat I consume on a regular basis comes from coconut oil, olive oil, fish oil, avocados, and certain nuts.

It's not terrible. Here's the info on a chicken bowl with the items I get. The info is from the chipotle nutrition info that I put into a nutrition app.

Yeah definitely not something you wanna eat everyday, esp if you dont exercise. Love the high protein. If I am on the road and need food quick, you wont ever catch me in a McDonalds drive thru.

I agree. Definitely need to watch those categories, get plenty of exercise. That protein count is awesome.

Edit: my occasional weakness is five guys....that's a guilt trip for about 3 days

You accidentally called it a burger. What you get is ground beef on a plate.

Bacon, red onion, sweet pickles, mushrooms, a bit of BBQ sauce, and a sesame seed bun. That's a burger.

Sometimes I leave the lower lid on and open face it. And onions and bacon are good. Not a mushroom fan.

Best local pizza is Rocco's in Glen Burnie. But I'm not in Glen Burnie anymore so I can't go there. :-(

Season's Pizza is also good, but they're a mid-atlantic chain so I don't get any yuppie foodie cred on here by posting that one I guess.

Edit: Oh and I forgot Bertucci's, they have good pizza too.

i did lifting for a while when i was working in colorado (love 24 hr fitness), but then just went to playing basketball (which is my main sport).  i definitely found my appetite increasing when i lifted and of course after a 2 hr bball run, i will be hungry at some point.  my body craves quality food when i'm in shape and after i eat chipotle i don't feel too bad which i can't say the same for many fast food places.  that's actually how i judge the food i eat...by how i feel not 5 minutes later, but 45 minutes later...and for the most part, chipotle passes the test.  it's all in the quality and ingredients.

that said, chipotle shouldn't be a regular thing unless you're burning major calories.

cali tortilla is also a decent option.  their hot sauce menu is awesome.

Completely agree. The human body craves the food it was intended to consume. I feel great when I eat balanced meals that feature fresh vegetables, lean protein, fruits, nuts etc. I literally feel ill and tired when I eat something that is full of simple carbs/refined sugar, saturated fat, etc..
