That's amazing. How much it cost?

I'm not sure what you mean.  The keg setup?  I got most of the gas equipment from a distributor friend and then the hoses and valves from Home Depot.  I have it set it up to handle two kegs and have an old fridge in the garage that has two tap handles.  The empty kegs were bought used and still not cheap...maybe about $50 each?  Pricey, but a fun hobby.  Generally, I only run one sixtel at a time unless there's a big event coming up so I can go through the brews quickly.

Nice. Is that a porter? I'm a little jealous about the keg.

I'm going to pull a gravity sample from my brown ale on Saturday. I plan to bottle on Tuesday unless the sample has hit my FG. I'm not going to worry about taking three different samples if it's already at 1.011.

Maris Otter/Centennial APA is up next...

No, not a porter.  This is the Merry Cherry Christmas Ale.  Only named that because it's got a scent and flavor of cherries.  I don't like it much, but when people hear the name, they react with an affirmative nod of the taste of cherries like it was deliberate.  Who knows why it has that flavor, but regardless, there's enough alcohol in it to kill anything that would kill me, so whatever.  Regarding the kegs, yes, they are easy, but not as convenient as bottles.  Growlers have made it easier, but being able to take a six pack to friends is still better imo.  Anyway, one weekend this winter we should head up and meet in JonJon land to try out his beer and see his setup.  I'll bet his beer is good.  I'd also, like to check out his brewing operation.  Brewing 10 gals at a time is going to keep him (hopefully) pretty busy!

Thanks for the invite, i would come over but i actually hate beer. The setup looks amazing though.

I'll leave the tequila out there for you. :yikes:  The scotch is staying inside.

Dc averages 2" of snow in December and about 47 degrees. I'm missing the part where I should be upset that we haven't had a good snow yet. January and February are our months. If we get snow in December and March it's a bonus.

Regarding March 2001. I was outside playing basketball in shorts and a Tshirt the day before we were supposed to get over a foot. Grocery store shelves were empty. It wasn't even a bust in my mind, but rather a storm that kept trending worse and many local forecasters were late to accept. March 2013 was worse.

12/2000 was a miller b fail. I remember watching the radar waiting for precip to develop and it did...off the jersey coast.

I'm really going to miss the dinosaur GFS. At least I knew it's bias. I really won't know which way to lean on solutions from theGPS. Oh well. From the brief time I've looked at it, it seems to have the same overamp bias as the euro, but who knows.

Unless they are changing the gefs, you can still see the old gfs output. Member C001 on PSU ewall is the gfs op output IIRC.
