EastCoast NPZ
In all seriousness, if I can be home and indoors for it, I enjoy the occasional dark, dreary, rainy, crappy day. CWG 2/10 today. What would ratchet it down to 1? Snow.
wxdude64
Snow. Unless it is Ian's one 20" event he has announced coming this winter.
wxdude64
This weather is the worst. Either be cold enough for snow or be pleasant outside. This raw, foggy, cold crap is awful. IDK, I kinda enjoyed my 6 mile walk on the river trail this am in the fog, felt Londonish.

T. August
Here's the way I look at it: On December 3 last year, my seasonal snow total was 0". This year, it's .4" and I've already experienced TSSN. So, technically, this winter is better so far.
EastCoast NPZ
To be fair, there were a lot of people predicting record temperatures. Looks like they were right.

Ian
do they get tornadoes? not sure they get much weather at all. must primarily be dust storm related, perhaps travel in broader region, etc.

snowfan
The average high in summer in Kandahar is near or slightly above 100. But its a dry heat, so it's all good.

snownut
this place is consistent when people don't think they will get snow makes sense the climate there (for most posters) consistently has more rain than snow....
CAPE
this place is consistent when people don't think they will get snow lol. For some reason people think December is a snow month. I bet for a lot of us its about on par with March.

Bob Chill
lol. For some reason people think December is a snow month. I bet for a lot of us its about on par with March. But that's not the real issue. The real issue is we're facing a potential pottery curing furnace in north america with no end in sight. I can deal with a seasonal so-so pattern. What appears to be coming down the line is pretty damn ugly.
