TeleConnectSnow
Models, some more aggressive then others, are hinting at some wintry weather, snow, sleet, FRZ potentially hitting this subforum on tuesday. Let's have this thread so we can discuss the future model runs.
Ralph Wiggum
NAM is borderline regarding temps but is still a little ways out there. QPF is increasing with each run however. Euro was the opposite end of temps and cold enough for some accumulating snow to sleet/ice to rain.
KamuSnow
It's looking more like we may actually get a little frozen precipitation out of this - any snow is a bonus.

Ralph Wiggum
December 5th coming in early! Nah, we'll still get our December 5th even if just a flizzard. It's showing up on a lot of guidance. Overunning.
RedSky
GFS a little more juiced this run. RGEM has a solid period of snow before changeover 2-4"

famartin
Seems like the freezing potential along I-95 is very limited. Will have to see what actual surface temps do but I am having difficulty finding a model which actually drops them to freezing. Definite good odds for some snow/sleet but I would say no more than a coating. NW probably more (haven't looked).

I may see a little....far N/NW burbs have some hope.
JCT777
And just a few days ago, Tuesday was forecast to be mostly sunny (this event looked more like overnight Tuesday into Wednesday AM). Certainly something to keep an eye on to see how much (if any) of the precip is frozen.
RedSky
Trends for 12z are milder temps for tomorrow and less of a threat
KamuSnow
While this is a completely different setup than last week, the one thing in common is needing the temperature to drop a good bit. Last week (here) it took 36 hours to drop 33 degrees, the last 10 of that once it started raining. It seems we would need the cold air more in place this time to get frozen precipitation. It will be interesting to see how fast it can cool down overnight. Currently it's 65F here.

I use these days to open the windows and air out the stagnant heat generated air. Dusk approaching....better shut them before I forget. Allentown and out that way may get a little thrill tomorrow.... famartin
It looks tougher and tougher to get any snow along I-95. Sleet is still in the cards, but if it just rains I won't be shocked. Further NW, better odds.
