lolz. You have to look at the overall signal.

he's too far gone.... :violin: lol

also it's not just one run Metalic but whatever. GFS has been showing this cold+tons of QPF setup for the SE for a few runs at least now.

Yeah the 12z wasn't all that.... VA cashes in and the northern sections of NC look ok but you have warm air intrusions coming and going from 216 on. Lower pressures over northern plains are a killer IMO. going to need to replace those with some highs. Overall it wasn't great but I agree much better than a SE ridge. People are setting themselves up for heartbreak if they think the 12z would get it done, we still have a ways to go. Btw GA and SC had virtually noting in the way of significant frozen precip.

To be fair at stage of the models it is all about the 500 mb map and not the details. If we can get a look like that then we can get some wintery weather in the SE.

Well you do have a point, we have models everywhere right now. The SE crew, me included, is bear hugging the 12z GFS. The para sucked, let's see what the Euro shows.

Lol everyone waits for model to model runs like highs and lows. Everyone just needs to show some patience. It seems some are teetering on insanity but hopefully the pattern can reel them back in.

I think the system next week (144hrs) is about as far out as we should focus on (detail wise). I would not be surprised to see big LR differences the next few day with each model run.

Haha it sucks when the agenda you are trying to push starts falling apart. Anyone who reads here regularly knows you are a warm winnie who loves to be right and have admited to only wanting to stir the pot. Why can't you just admit that the GFS has been trending in the right direction?

You have crossed into an area that's not too flattering for you.  Please try and attack my thoughts not me personally, thanks.

Lol re-read some of your posts from last night..  Not starting an argument with you, but you cross the line nearly everyday.  Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black.  Thats all I will say because I am sure the mods are about to step in and I have no problem with that.
