VA cashes in and the northern sections of NC look ok but you have warm air intrusions coming and going from 216 on. Lower pressures over northern plains are a killer IMO. going to need to replace those with some highs. Overall it wasn't great but I agree much better than a SE ridge. People are setting themselves up for heartbreak if they think the 12z would get it done, we still have a ways to go. Btw GA and SC had virtually noting in the way of significant frozen precip. To be fair at stage of the models it is all about the 500 mb map and not the details. If we can get a look like that then we can get some wintery weather in the SE.
