superjames1992
That departure map is in Kelvin (Celsius + 273.15), too, so that's showing basically 25+ degrees below average. LOL. Clearly an error.

franklin NCwx
I played in three fantasy leagues this year and made the playoffs in two. I had a first round bye in both and my players had a huge week. I hope they show up this week.
CAD_Wedge_NC
Nothing to do.... off from work today and tomorrow, wife has gone Christmas shopping at Valley Hills Mall, yard work is done (leaves all raked). Got the gas logs fired up. I will be watching the weather through the window, looking for the ever elusive dendrite. Already a report of light snow in the Greensboro area. Amos83
Man my reading comprehension has gone to crap! I read Webber’s posts and reread and still end up feeling like an idiot. Glad you are posting so much Webber, even though I only retain some of the info I am learning a lot. In other news, my fantasy football teams (all 3) are crap this year. One is a dynasty team where I went 15-0 last year with a championship and ended up 3-9 this year and in dead last. Missed out on the playoffs in the other two leagues as well! He would do well if he decided to teach after his degree as I feel like most of the time if anyone asks a question he tries to explain or derive the answer, much like my pharmaceutics/biostats teacher...haha. He gives us the equation but he wants us to know how it was made and why we use it. I can tell his posts are helping people who don't post a lot learn which I hope once they learn they come out of the woodwork and start posting more. Ouch on the dynasty team! My money league I went 6-7 and made the playoffs (8 spots)...it's me vs the #1 seed, who is 10-3 one of his losses are from me already, last week. So I knew if I made playoffs I'd have to beat the best team in the league twice to move on to the 2nd round. I told him that and he said it was impossible I'm up 117-94 and he has Jordy Nelson playing tonight (PPR). Hopefully Nelson has another off game as far as targets and coverage goes. I also sat Jay Cutler and played Brees (yeah I have both, they have both been inconsistent all year yet top 10 QBs....) Every time I play Brees, he sucks. Same with Cutler. It's like a curse. CherokeeGA
What are the people that come on here daily and say that it's warm and looks warm through day 15, gonna do when highs are in the 20s and 30s and no warm in sight? IDK. I'm looking at this as a silver lining. Reality is that persistent below normal December temps here in NGa aren't going to bring persistent snowy days. All they really bring me is high natural gas bills. So for December, I won't have much of a bill - we keep it set at 62 and it's barely kicking on in the wee hours of the morning right now. If we'd spent the whole month with highs in the 40s, I sincerely doubt we've have seen anything but miserable cold rain here anyway. January and February are where the money's at (quite literally). Until then, at least I'm saving money.

Yep I def feel like I was cursed this year. I made a couple of trades which haven't worked out and each time I move someone from the bench to a starting spot or vice versa the bench player always had a big day. I knew I was lucky last year but my luck sure ran out this season. 3 of my losses were by a combined total of 4.5 points. Hopefully the rookie draft goes well for me... as I'll have a higher drafting spot this go around.

Amos83
I had the number one pick in my league and took Adrian Peterson.... Ouch! I'm sure you weren't the only one who got screwed by that mess..... that is who I would have taken if the opportunity would have presented itself so I can't blame you at all for picking him. On another note, I grew up in Marietta, just off of Dallas Highway. Moved a year before they started extending the East-West Connector to go all the way out to the mall. I went back to visit a couple of years ago and didn't recognize anything. Amazing
