Latest 8-14 day outlook from NOAA has normal to above normal temps in GA, FL, Carolinas Jan 5-11.

Those are about as accurate as the Accuweather 15 day forecasts for Carrollton you like to throw around, good try though. I guess you didnt see the GFS that had AL with temps not getting above 32 for five days, that sounds way above???? Smh

Indeed... I want Stewart or Cam to run with it today

EDIT: Thank you Dickson :)

I think it's a rather mute point for us to go to the playoffs as we would have to go thru Seattle :weep:

But not in the first round, though.  Assuming SF beats AZ today or Seattle beats St. Louis, the Panthers would most likely host the Cards in the first round.

Anyway, I don't recognize this team today.  Thomas Davis just had his pick-six recalled, but the CAR defense and offense have both been on point today.  It's nice to see for a change.

Edit:  Well, it appears Tre Mason can have the pick-six instead!  :D   TWO defensive TDs today!

Welp, this *playoff* game between the Falcons and the Saints just demonstrates which team is the better all-around team this year. It's sort of like winter weather: NC > GA with pretty much any winter weather threat we might experience!

I kid! I kid! :P

:D

If anyone wants snow, I suppose we should head to southern california. A very cold  system looks to be in the cards in a few days. Should be accumulations north of LA in those hills/mountains. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it mixed in even in the lower elevations. Then it  moves out into the deserts of southern/southeast california and puts down some snow there. Pretty damn impressive system for that area.

congrats to the desert southwest  :P

7-8-1 and made the playoffs....I'll take it.

I have to         at any team with a loosing record making the playoffs

btw....I already know my bears suck................again........ugh     :(
