Hope everyone had a great Christmas! The Christmas season lasts a little longer, so a touch of snow would be nice. Ya know, since I could get plenty of pics  this year with snow drifting alongside pumpkins but not one with snow on Christmas decorations!

The thick gray overcast today at least made it feel a little more like Christmas than it would have if it was sunny out.

FWA is going to tack onto their positive temp departures for December in the next two days.  They are currently sitting at +3.7°.

Normal high is 34° and the point is calling for 48° the next two days before falling to around to slightly below normal to round out the month.

This will be one of the very few months over past year and a half that has been much above normal.

Killer nice day here in Detroit. Sun is blazing and pushing the 40s. If it gonna be Zzzz it might as well be nice out.

It looked so funny seeing the sun. Unless you live in a cloudy climate like us, people might think we are exaggerating, but honestly when you see the sun this time of year (after going without) its like seeing a UFO.

I can take it or leave it (love the gray) but I know im in the minority.

Full sun has my house cooking. First floor with plenty of south facing windows, house torching at 76. Had to open the windows.

Same here..my house faces due south and warms up nicely, even on very cold winter days....one reason i love sunny winter days.   Although this place doesn't hold the heat the best so once the sun goes down, the furnace is back on pretty quick.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting the sun today. It was a shock when I woke up around sunrise and saw blue skies.

I knew we would see some sun but I sure was not expecting start to finish sunshine today ... I don't think we have seen that since sometime in October or at least it feels like it has been that long here!
