Chitown Storm
Spit rain and snow here all day, but temps held steady at 35 so no snow accumulation. If MSP doesn't get anymore snow before 12/31 (which looks like it won't), it will end December with 1.5". The least snowiest Dec since 2004. hawkeye_wx
I picked up 0.55" of rain from this last system. That puts my December precip total at 0.69". I don't think we've even had a trace of snow. The clouds have really been something. I don't know if we've had more than two days of sun this entire month. About 10k geese for every semi truck at the rochelle exit on 39....dear god...they are def flocking now I drove to Chicago and back on Sunday. I've never seen so many geese before. The sky was full of small groups and a few fields were covered with them.

Geos
One type of weather I've never seen on Christmas is a thunderstorm. That's pretty unusual Buffalo Weather. High of 39° today with no precipitation at all. Complete shutout.
BuffaloWeather
One type of weather I've never seen on Christmas is a thunderstorm. That's pretty unusual Buffalo Weather. High of 39° today with no precipitation at all. Complete shutout. Yeah, first time I've seen it as well. It came through quickly and packed quite a punch. I missed the most intense portion of it in the video. The winds were very high with the storm but not as bad as I thought they would be right now. daddylonglegs
Brown Christmas here...showing a high of 40F this afternoon... warmest Christmas i can remember in a loooong time. Next week should bring a return to winter. What is crazy is that there are still a million guys out ice fishing. All that cold weather in November put down a lot of ice that has been able to hold. Areas with current have been open for weeks, but the lake/back pockets are still good.
