H2Otown_WX
Not very efficient here. I have 1" now but would be an easy 2.5" or more if it was 28F. Wow, Im surprised you even have an inch. I only have about half an inch. Putrid snow growth FTL.
ROOSTA
Give it about another hour ro so there. . It should switch, just a matter for how long. Just having some fun. Keeping it on the light-side. Can't get here fast enough. All that wasted QPF. That change-over is moving quicker than expected. There's always hope

leesun
Intensity has lightened up a little. Grassy surfaces completely covered, paved surfaces have a slushy coating. Temp down to 33. We had a good burst about a half hour ago with excellent snow growth
JC-CT
Took about 1 to 1.5 hrs later to start accumulating here in Glastonbury at 100' than it did at home at 500'. However, it is now starting to stick even to the pavement in Glastonbury. Grass has a nice coating, mulch has 1/4 - 1/2 inch.
JC-CT
Kevin probably has an inch on the roads already at 980'. I noticed the cutoff for accumulations on pavement of about 825' on my drive to work at 9-9:30.

WinterWolf
Surprisingly, it changed to Snow here in West/Central CT at about 8:45 or so. Been snowing lightly/steadily since then. Have 33 degrees with moderate snow now. Grass is almost covered, and snow is accumulating on the roads and my driveway is covered. Actually has exceeded my expectations already. With the way the models looked last night, I was expecting it to be rain until at least Noon time, but that wasn't the case. And as I write this it's becoming quite Heavy now. :-)
