powderfreak
11.5" at the house. No power outages around here than I can tell, snow was fairly fluffy, lots of 15:1 to 20:1 ratios on CocoRahs. Best White Thanksgiving I can remember. Up to 22.4" for the month of November at home.

N. OF PIKE
MPM sorry man, what the hell is up w/ your generator that's the real messed up thing. Hopefully you see the inverted trough from hell and score another dumping over there. It's probably as prime a spot as any for this inverted trough , some models are spitting out silly amounts (meso's) some flurries

Arnold214
A few people have pointed out Mid level temperatues being so warm during this event. Was looking back at soundings...even the 00z gyx sounding was -10c at 500 in the midst of a snowstorm last night. Can't really recall it being that warm at that level and being able to sustain S+ for such a long period of time. This was probably at least partially the culprit down in SNE...snow growth zone so high that is was above much of the good omega and best saturation. Usually drier air lurks at that height too. The DGZ was really high. I definitely noticed that. Going back and looking at the 6 hr QPF totals, ern MA didn't do too bad after 21z, but parts of the area from 18z-21z, esp IJD to ORH didn't get quite the good burst. Certainly doesn't help to lose strong lift when warmer air is pushing north. You can see how the good totals from nrn ORH county, like rt 2 on north benefited from better mid level frontogenesis which was evident by a much more improved look on radar. eyewall
We ended up around 8 inches officially as the NWS office is very close to where I live (and usually representative). TalcottWx
Berks orh to interior ne ma look very good Additional 2-3" for someone post sleet me thinks. probably north orh county elevation. Methuen and Andover was already snow covered streets 30 minutes ago. Home now by the way. All you people screaming about the end of this storm - I got 0.25" extra. Still under 2 for the day. This has been one of the All-Time most annoying storms. I could slap every one of you for excitement. I'm honestly passed and not joking. Worst storm I can remember. Have to agree There's a reason why I said berks orh to interior ne ma. dopes

Like you said, sometimes you get those funky dry layers if the WCB isn't really well formed yet. Happy Thanksgiving to you and the fam. Hope all is well.
