The RAP keeps showing dynamical cooling in the mid-level...but the dynamics seem to not be there, lol...I guess we'll see if it is lying this time...but the latest run actually cools the H7 layer between now and 6pm in the ORH-BED region.

What will be nauseating is to listen to half wits like Bouchard claiming victory when they had not a mention of sleet, and attributed low amounts to the marine influence.

Well here is the 700mb circulation now...let's see if it moves more directly east or more of a NE trajectory.  The earlier would allow for the warmth to shunt SE a bit

The caution flag all along was that near 700 mb warmth, whether it was sleet or poor snow growth. Looks like we're getting both, and the winners are under the deformation band.

Yeah it has always been about the mid-levels...not the BL...the BL cooled quite rapidly early on. But we got left without our big WCB thump...we'll see if we can still pick up some consolation late in the form on an inch or two...best shot would be north and east.

Yeah, whatever the reason...it doesn't help the cause. But a shredded radar wasn't exactly what I pictures either.
