Zeus
Seems like this is underperforming a bit. Lots of rain and sleet around. That depends entirely on what your expectations were.
Damage In Tolland
can a couple mets who know what they're talking about and live in the region comment on any kind of change back to snow tonight for the region? Is it just flurries or a period of steady snow that can drop another inch or 2?
TalcottWx
The 20z rap really puts the breaks on mid level warming, slows and actually retreats it in places. Doesn't have me switch over for another three hours.
WinterWolf
I remember alot of the models showing/and people saying "Major Thumping" before the Sleet/change over for the areas that got snow. That doesn't seem like it materialized in most places anyway. It snowed here for about 6 hours, but the rates weren't very heavy at all. And I've seen many others saying the same thing. It's been Steady, but nothing to heavy. Why were we thinking a Hellacious Dumping? That doesn't seem to have panned out. Maybe I'm wrong, but did anybody really see some really Heavy Impressive rates?

TauntonBlizzard2013
That depends entirely on what your expectations were. I have known we were cooked here for a while. I'm speaking of places that changed to sleet well short of accum forecasts, and places that were sleet from the start. Seems pretty underwhelming in a lot of places
ROOSTA
Just a tidbit of FYI - Radar back-end is still down DC way. Not that I would ever want to dissuade the meh or under-performers comments.

Ryan
About 2" of snow in Atkinson NH...still coming down decently, more on grass. Roads are snow-covered from Lawrence MA to Atkinson. We've had a couple of gusts here and there and power flickered twice.
weatherwiz
Not well adverse in dual-pol radar (one of these days I'll get into it) but this is the sleet line correct (also showing about where the surge of warmth is located)

SlantStickers Anonymous
Not bad, assuming meaningful accums are finished, no more than a coating-1/4" but enough to give the yard a nice look, especially if mood snows tomorrow work out. Lighter snow/sleet mix.
