SlantStickers Anonymous
You are in east Peabody? Well, technically we don't call any part of town east Peabody, but I'm in one of the more eastern sections. I'm within about a mile of 128. heavy_wx
Dual pol shows the mid level warmth beginning to come north. Melting layer now appearing around 10kft just north of HVN. Yeah, cool to see a reduction in CC ~150 km from KBOX with surface temperatures near freezing. Also some pretty large enhancements in KDP in southern ME with reflectivity around 20 dBz, probably indicating a dendritic growth zone.
leesun
snowfall rates and snow growth not that impressive up here even though it has been snowing for 4 hours. Maybe 1.5-2" on grass and an 1" on untreated paved surfaces. Can't see how we get 6" at this point
TalcottWx
This low track is going to be decided by that convection off the east coast to our south. be interesting to see if it tucks it closer than expected or further than expected from the coast. Right now mesos like just se of ack.

codfishsnowman
elevated open surfaces closing in on 2 inches, same on open grass but grass measurements are inflated, just coating to half inchslush on roads.....it really needs to rip for awhile to see six inches....its too wet still too many lulls
SlantStickers Anonymous
Also, getting reports of mostly snow already in west peabody. Accumulating on grass/cars there now. Getting much more very wet snow here, not sticking to anything but the deck yet.
DomNH
Man these rates blow. Really hope they pick up in within the next hour or so...not sure we've gotten to less than a mile visibility since the snow started.

wxeyeNH
30.9F light to moderate snow. 3.5" since it began 3 hours ago. Trees are doing okay at my elevation but 600 feet below they are really starting to bend. No wind and temps right around 32/32.5F is not good. Temps have leveled off so I think power problems are going to an issue in the heavy wet snow belts.

Roger
Accumalating quicker than expected here. It's been snowing since 11am and we have about 3" on the ground temp is down to 31*. not bad for being on the coast.

wxeyeNH
30.9F 3 1/2" so far. How are the trees doing in areas around 32F? Looks like they are really starting to bend on Dendrite's cam. Wind is calm here and temp has leveled off past hour. 32/33F heavy paste may cause more problems than advertised?
