keep an eye on these reports and the wind direction here or if you have a weather station at home - have to keep these winds from a northerly or NE direction as they are now in most locations also the intensity is determining at least by me if sleet starts mixing in as it is now when the intensity is lighter

I haven't seen a single flake. I'm off today and trust me I have been watching. I think the big problem here is we are kinda dry slotting. Heavier precip to the east and west

The couple flakes I saw were during a period of heavy sleet. My ob was def 10-15 mins late since I was showering when I saw it. I'm home sick today.

3 colder RAP runs at 700 in a row and looks like the 15z HRRR is a tick colder for KNYC as well .

Hey Paul, sitting here with about an inch and a half. Still seeing places calling for 5-8 inches total for my area. For some reason I don't believe it. Snow has seemed to lighten some.

Waiting for the heavier batch to the south. If it's gonna snow here that's going to be when it happens.

Exactly. I had a batch of heavy sleet and saw a few flakes mixed in which quick changed to rain the second the intensity dropped off.

Snowing at varying intensities the past 90 minutes in Princeton,NJ. Nice snow scene and as I type intensity ramping up and wind picking up along with better snow growth.

Nice to have Jerry for this storm on our side of the Hudson! How much accum down there?
