HighStakes
Yep, for November it's amazing! WBAL did a live shot from Hunt Valley and there was barely a dusting left.

clskinsfan
Sounds like just to my NW was a different world. Berkeley Springs can't be 20 air miles from me and WVClimo posted they had a foot. Hard to imagine...and at a lower elevation. Yeah. I just talked to an old neighbor who now lives in Paw Paw. She says she has 16 inches of snow on her deck. Crazy what a difference 3 degrees can make. I finished at 4.2. Now it's time for the compaction and then concrete in the morning.

notvirga!
I know it's been mentioned but I am amazed by the totals from WVA. These aren't mountain towns, and are similar in elevation to where I reside in Fred. Co. Va.---at a little over 1,000 ft in elevation. I suppose it was a combination of slightly colder temperatures, and getting raked with heavy snow bands all morning.

I recall some amazing totals out by I-81 while those of us near the big cities got either a few inches of slop or a coating. But this isn't March, and we aren't desperate to salvage ourselves from two awful winters. I don't think it's a stretch to say that some of us might have seen the earliest sizable snowfall that we can remember... especially the young crowd, and those who were screwed in October 2011. wxdude64
My 3.5 from earlier today right after snow stopped has compacted/melted back to 2.5, still gonna be nice to have a white Thanksgiving. Highland in VA, Pendleton, Hampshire, Morgan, Hardy, Mineral and Grant counties in WV look like the big winners this round with some totals in the teens! wxdude64
Traffic backed up over 7 miles east and west on I-64 for a tanker wreck that happened around 11 am this morning in my county. Has traffic down to one lane and they closing altogether once in a while when they trying to clean up fuel and mess. va511.org cameras for exit 16 and 21. And boy is it getting foggy out there! PhatStorm
We topped out at 3:00 with a uniform 14 inches. Got to use my Honda Big Red with a 6 foot plow for the 1st time. WEATHER53
I would give this about a 6 on scale of ten. If it was prime time winter it would get about a 2 but for thanksgiving and considering what we think is ahead I like a 6. I must now ask that one is down what about that increasing in size and intensity mass in western Kentucky?

NCWX
Ended the storm with a solid 6 inches on the mark. Snow was too wet and heavy for my snowblower, so I had to do our 750foot drive by hand. Sore and tired.... gonna sit on the porch and have a few cold ones.

Ellinwood
Going with 1.1" IMBY. Got 1" through noon, then that band that came through in the afternoon dropped an additional dusting. Only about half of what I was expecting... afternoon fizzled much more than I had anticipated.Trained spotter nearby had 1.2", so it matches up well. HighStakes
Few flurries still going on. Calling the final total 4 but it was definitely more. Compaction and melting made this a very difficult storm to get an accurate total. The lull hurt too.
