I saw a couple of flakes mixed in too, incredible change from this afternoon when it actually felt hot in the sun, love it.

Much of N & W Franklin Co. still has decent snow coverage.  Impressive to have that 5 days after a storm in November (although we are into Dec now).  Some will see snow on snow tomorrow night.

Still hanging in the mid-30's though.  Clouds have hampered the cooling.  35/27

Kidding aside, we have a lot of work to do to turn things around. I'm not expecting much for most of this month. The weenies are going to need to have patience.

Close the shades, watch reruns of Rudolph, look at old pics of snow....whatever you need to do, to get through this period.

Old pics of snow usually gets the job done haha.

Just need to keep getting these sneaky highs to build in for some cold, but overall it does look pretty rugged if you were looking for a solid winter month.

Yeah the pattern setting in is polar opposite of what's needed. Pattern change begins 12/10/11 and is complete 3/31/15?

LOL.  Lots of mild weather to finish up Christmas decorations.

Usually, I always concerned when I have a several-day trip to Iowa that I'm going to miss a big event at home.  Fears are tempered for the trip next week.  In fact, if one needs to be in Iowa in December, it appears that next week might be a great week to be there.  Much better than the week I was there with highs in the - 0's and lows in the -teens.
