BRSno
The thirst for snow is real. Might need to do some chasing tomorrow to enjoy some good stuff. Where would be the best place within Boston Metro/T accessible area to get some decent snow?

ORH_wxman
Wawa I don't think they are T-accessible. I'd probably go greenline to Riverside at 128 if taking the T from Boston...or if they are willing to hop on the commuter rail, take that to ORH or Fitchburg. highways1
I feel pretty good in Shrewsbury, probably ping a bit towards the end. I'm going 8-12 and am just enjoying having a storm in late November.

During ski season they do offer a shuttle bus between the FIT station and the mountain, but not yet
TauntonBlizzard2013
This looks really sketchy in this area. We have ticked back a bit unfavorably here. Reducing my thoughts to a coating to an inch of slop

Reducing my thoughts to a coating to an inch of slop I had you at 4-6"...but you may get a lot of sleet. I'll drop it to 2-4 for you. <1" for me, like BOX map. I may get more accumulation from the inv trough snows on Thursday. lol

If I we could get a prolonged period of sleet I wouldn't mind that. I would pass on this mess if I could get in on the inverted trough lol
quizplz
Latest GFS has 540 through central New England now and trending warmer and west. Surface temperatures the 50s and 60s most areas right now. It early in the season. Just don't see much snow with this scenario. Central MA, Southen NH and coastal Maine see very little snow from this. Mainly rain SE of there. Most snow western MA, central VT, central NH and Maine well away from the coast. Still penty of winter left.

You probably should go take another look at the data if you even did, I think i would be leaning Euro/RGEM/GFS in that order with a small helping of Nam

ORH_wxman
Hopefully starting a new storm thread and leaving the inverted trough thread seperate will be good enough for juju. We'll see if that spares Jay Kenney's existance on this forum past Wednesday night.

HoarfrostHubb
Cancellations (schools) already starting. The public schools that are open mostly have half days, so I wonder if they will cancel.
CoastalWx
We need a betting system for snow. Like sports betting. A spread, favored by, ability to tease etc. now that would be fun.
bobbutts
Watching the trend on these forecasts it's actually ticked east and deepens less between the Carolina coast and the BM than the last few forecasts.
N. OF PIKE
We need a betting system for snow. Like sports betting. A spread, favored by, ability to tease etc. now that would be fun. They should launch one here, take about 5-9% (RAKE) and let us weenies have at it. We would probably even pay up for You and Will's "snow thoughts" . It does have a market! we need someone to set over/under's probably based on how many inches of snow in BOX's experimental percentage probs it shows at exactly 50%. Lines shift through out event. We could call dollars "points" and set it up via Pay Pal Boston O/U (logan) 1.75 ORH O/U (airport) 6.75 MHT O/U (airport or public) whatever is higher.. 5.5 PVD 1.5 HFD 4.0 LWM 4.
scoob40
4 places to go with the over at all times would be West Chesterfield, Moosup and Tolland, based upon who would be reporting the totals and BDL.
