Morch Madness
HRRR is disappointing, looks like mostly rain and sleet. At this point I'd be happy with 1-2".

Looks good to me for our area. 2-5" Turns over to snow relatively early in the day. Sharp gradient but our area usually does ok with these systems. Sharp gradient but our area usually does ok with these systems. It's going to be awful close though. Elevation will make a whole lot of difference as well. But I do agree, our area seems to luck out more often than not on these types of gradient storms.
famartin
If you live along I-95, the EC still has that pesky warm layer at 700. Liking 1-3 at TTN, with probably greater odds that it ends up below that range than above.

The warm layer doesn't make it up to you. Still pretty warm low levels but should definitely do better.

RedSky
0z ECM before kickoff no big changes, indicates 2-3" in Philly and around 7" up here in the hills.
White_Mtn_Wx
It's still 41F
Birds~69
It's still 41F Don't worry about that. When more intense precip happens temps will drop. It's not starting off as snow...patience. It will drop and changeover. I don't think 41 is bad at this time.

I'm not seeing that at all for PHL, unless you're going off of some automated map output. At least at PHL there's still the 700 mb warm layer in the middle of the storm which would mean sleet or just rain. Surface temp doesn't even get down to 34 til after 0Z. I would say its mainly rain/white rain/a little sleet there. At the airport.
famartin
6Z NAM is mostly rain at PHL. Actually shoves a warm layer in at 650-675mb at 18Z.

Yeah, I'm not very encouraged. 49-50F in Philly as of 4am...thought it would be down somewhat. 44.3F here.
