Bob Chill
Stop it. I'm already feeling so sick to my stomach. Dude, this is a sickness. I am seriously contemplating bailing on my family for Thanksgiving. I need to be slapped. I wouldn't worry too much about missing anything unless things still look good on Monday-Tues. I just tossed my ante into the pot today. That's about it.
Scraff
I guess it's time to throw some chips in? Can't go all in yet, though I'm getting there! What could possibly go wrong?
WinterWxLuvr
Euro shows all snow @ 10-1 so 1-1.3 through the 95 corridor. I'd like to see a precip map if you'd be kind enough to post
Ian
Could be Euro bias. It loves being amped or has in the past at least.

H2O
Standard procedure for all coastals is we will do ok with precip but certain areas will fight marginal temps.

eurojosh
I'm posting this here to come back to in 6 days' time.... Ginny Johnson Stanley Do you think it may trend a bit further west to give far sw va a better chance for measurable snow? Looks like we are just in for a couple of inches from the maps. 1 · 59 minutes ago Wxrisk.com NOPE I think the euro is bang on it
PhineasC
Raw surface temps are between 32-34 through the heavy rates and then go below freezing as it shuts off. It would stick no problem. 10-1 ratios unlikely but it would be a major accumulating snowfall if the euro has it right.Sounds like a typical January snowstorm around here. mappy
i'm going to be sick. Jesus...there is no way I can be in SC and watch this. I've never missed a snowstorm. I'm already thinking of ways to get out of the one annual big family gathering. I'm mentally f*cked. Ah, so it was your text that Ian tweeted. BTRWx
Being November and a holiday, let's just hope the models don't bomb this thing any more than they already have. Looking back, I only see one November on record that came close to a foot at dca. www.weather.gov/media/lwx/climate/dcasnow.pdf

Bob Chill
Euro ens look pretty good. They came west from last night and are just east of the op on the means. Decent precip and good lp track. I just raised after the flop. Eta: Mean precip is around .50 or so. 5" of snow.

NinjaWarrior2
the surface is bothersome...It will almost always be in November. I would rather have the heavy Precip at night...though it is not as important as in March. Still a lot can change though as many models still go way east. CAPE
always is for us east of the piedmont except when we are in our ideal climo period for snow with the perfect synoptic setup...but then we typically have to worry about warming aloft
