Zeus
I hear ya...... Should be a fun storm even if cold rain. It's 11/25. My expectations are appropriately tempered given my location, the setup, and the time of year, but do not be mistaken: cold rain does not a fun storm make. I am figuring 1-2 of slush along the way. May head out for NJ in the thick of it, just for fun. Here's hoping the snow scares folks off the pike tomorrow night if wagons need to go west. I unavoidably work tomorrow, and so does the mister. Earliest possible departure around 8PM tomorrow night. If things are boring in town and traffic looks endurable, we'll hit the road and enjoy the colder pastures. If things are white in Brookline, we'll wait until Thursday AM to make way. I'm guessing the former, though. 06z ticked to a warm look for here. 12z would have to cool off a bit for me to even find the NWS's 4-6 reasonable at this juncture. CoastalWx
BOS has north winds the whole time. Low a bit stronger which helps lock in ageo flow.

Yeah, upper levels looked stronger which would limit warmth flooding in. Nice omega bomb for a crap ton of posters.
J Paul Gordon
You're fine and annoying in ORH. The question was intended for understanding. I'm just beginning to get what the different level lows are (SL, 850, 700) and I know that changes and different levels affect P-type. I'm not sure about what, when, where. Not only concerned with ORH. The most fascinating discussions this morning have had to do with CF and common rain/snow line set up in the Boston area. The meteorology of the event is what interests me. We'll know what we actually get sometime Thursday morning.

SlantStickers Anonymous
Cue the "too bad it's the NAM." If this northern flow works out I can see Box's 4-6 just off the water verifying.
