CT Valley Snowman
possibly worried about mixing, warm air intrusion I would think. topography certainly agues in their favor.
CT Valley Snowman
temperatures running very high here here ahead of the front 60 degrees in my backyard. could this intense type of thermal gradient create a more explosive cyclogenesis? NAM QPF definitely bumped up a bit and shifted west.

powderfreak
At least the H7 low tracks give the far NW areas hope. BTV expanded the watch one county band NW. NAM has it over the Berks... GFS never closes it off but has a similar trajectory.

I'm feeling better about possibly getting advisory snows. Still fun to be living in 1 of the 7 New England counties not in a Winter Storm Watch though haha. Who cares what they have issued for a certain county though? You know what is going to happen by living there..just like everyone else does who lives where they do. I'm not getting warning snows, no one should issue a watch here. If anything I'm surprised GYX has one up north of MWN. BTV has a pretty darn good forecast out if you ask me. I'm going 2-4" up here. ROOSTA
Razors edge of p-type thus the issuance of Watch and or Warning in areas of greatest uncertainty. IP could be the dominant type well back into counties presently warned. So ya it makes sense.
