40/70 Benchmark
DT might be the biggest waffle in the world. There is not enough syrup to cover him. Run to run, watch if Euro shifts east. He is saying its not done trending because its still stepping towards the EURO, but this is a tic EASTWARD from 18z...not to mention the para GFS, GEM and UK now match it. Don't get him. CoastalWx
Not sure why DT doesn't buy the GFS....the para GFS, GEM and to lesser degree UK are each working in concert with it. It's not healthy to run with one model all the time.

CTWeatherFreak
He is saying its not done trending because its still stepping towards the EURO, but this is a tic EASTWARD from 18z...not to mention the para GFS, GEM and UK now match it. Don't get him. Simple... In DT's world, if its not the ECMWF, its FOS! He may or may not be right in this case.. But he gives precious little reason for his BS claim other than the model has been fickle as to its depiction over the last several days.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Yeah, seems like wagons east with all the models so far, euro is now alone. Tough to go against it, but also tough to believe any model on its own
40/70 Benchmark
What he is doing is focusing on the 00z and 12z runs, discounting the off-hour (06z and 18z) runs.
ORH_wxman
Euro may still be more right than wrong...but even a 70/30 or 60/40 blend in favor of the Euro still produces quite a lot of snow for a good chunk of SNE so the sensible wx consequences are huge. Max
I think we see things trend now that we have the s/w that ultimately spawns the storm fully in NA. Now tomorrow night we will have most if not all of the s/w that will partially phase or act to kick our storm east. So I wonder which will have the most impact on the models? joey2002
Ukie is still close to the coast. http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur.php?lang=en&map=na&run=00&mod=ukmet&stn=PNM&comp=1&run2=00&mod2=ukmet&stn2=PNM&hh2=060&fixhh=1&hh=072 Glad to see the Ukie shift a tad to the east. It often seems to get overlooked by some, but it's a decent medium range model. Euro time now...
ROOSTA
Running home-grown grids between para and op GFS show huge diffrences especially on regional NE graphics. Not stating that either are correct but in marginal situ's the hi-res will be an asset.

ORH_wxman
Well, too tired to stay up any longer, but the westward trend has clearly stopped with this 00z suite. Looks like the upper levels started acting less phased where the 2nd shortwave acts more as a kicker rather than an amplifier.

The 4 Seasons
Don't post pay images. Ok sorry, I am relatively new to the forums and I posted a map from weatherbell and asked if it was ok to do so and the reply I got was yes. Should have asked the mods, my apologies.
