Gilbertfly
Snowing pretty good here but flake size is pretty meh indeed...was expecting some larger clumping... pouring down medium size flakes now...grass starting to whiten up...nothing on paved areas though
A-L-E-K
changeover in progress in the loop looking at radar, should be just enough to whiten some grassy surfaces (and quickly melt)
cyclone77
2.1" here. Still snowing lightly, but winding down. High quality (dense) 2". Should glacier up nicely.
Thundersnow12
Cyclone is the new Mt. Geos. Nice little event before turkey day out there. Still coming down here and sticking to mostly everything besides the roads
cyclone77
Cyclone is the new Mt. Geos. Nice little event before turkey day out there. Still coming down here and sticking to mostly everything besides the roads lol. Solid event to be sure. Was pretty worried after some of those HRRR runs last night. I'm not sure what model handled this event the best. Euro definitely struggled with both the rain on the warm side, and the evolution of the deformation band. NAM bounced around quite a bit. RGEM actually seemed to have a pretty good handle on it from what I saw. Definitely a very challenging/frustrating forecast.
Thundersnow12
Yeah the HRRR nailed this though. 4z/5z runs that I looked at are spot on. Might make a run at an inch or so here. Accumulating fast now. Grass whitening up quickly.
Luftfeuchtigkeit
All snow now and coming down pretty hard. Grass starting to whiten up, even starting to stick to the streets.
Hoosier
changeover in progress in the loop looking at radar, should be just enough to whiten some grassy surfaces (and quickly melt) Actually looks like it could be a decent burst there...perhaps almost a couple hours. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Thundersnow12
Ripping here last 20 mins or so. Vis under a 1/4 mile. Post pics in a bit. Wind really going to town. Good thing temps weren't 27-29 or this would of been much worse on the roads.
Gilbertfly
I would have to say that my November standards for snowfall have been met with this event (nevermind the fact that I saw flakes fly 10 other times this month already)....
