Some sort of secondary boundary came thru over the last hour and dropped the temp from 30 down to 27.8

Nice.  Whatever you had come through must have been through here before it warmed.  We've been pretty steady as near as I can tell with a noon-time high  27.4 at noon and are now at 26.9.

The flurries are a nice way to kick off vacation.

Yeah I think the chances of us getting an event next week is really slim. Its another thread the needle case.

To be honest, the second wave is a bit interesting. I think that first wave is going to have to separate more for anything substantial. Its interesting if that wave speeds up, other than that I doubt either happen. At least its not totally absent on all modeling

We went from a torched holiday week..to 1-2 mild days with clouds and rain and 2 and possibly 3 snow events over the next 10 days and a cold holiday.

It doesn't look that different than has been advertised for quite some time...Sun-Tue are warm. Colder air filters in on Wed.

I think the part that changed was the weekend after. It looked mild and that changed over the last 7 days. Otherwise like Will said, the warmup early next week was well advertised.

Yeah at first it looked near normal or slightly below average for T-day weekend...then it went warmer with a cutter on Black Friday...then back to cold...now very recently cold with potential snow threat(s).

The Sun-Tues torch though has been steady as she goes for at least a week.

I know this is sort of a weenie expression, but it would be pretty sweet to get a widespread wintry event from these last two weeks or so of colder weather. We all know how difficult it is to get a snow event this time of year, but this is sort of daring Mother Nature to try and get out of this cold spell without a snow event.

There probably was >100" in the hardest hit towns but the snow was falling 5" per hour and never adding to the depth. That weight just caused the snow to collapse on itself and compact.

unreal just beautiful scenes in the areas with untouched snow. seems lots of people having difficulty shoveling and snowblowing, not an easy chore. Probably the heaviest 35 inches of snow ever. 6 inches of water in 35 inches is brutal. a 24 inch shovel with 12 inches of snow would weigh about 30 lbs per shovel

Still going down here..down to 26.5...Just a mid winters day.

I wonder what the average temperature is for latter half of November in GC.  Clearly, warmer than this, but so far, the range today has been 20.3 - 27.4.  Sitting at 25.5/8, but with the wind keeping up, I'm not sure how cold it will be before midnight.

Sure beats HHH though--regardless of the season.
