CT Valley Snowman
ok CEF is reporting 14 with a light wind. here my sensor says 12.5 which is colder than anything else I can find but I have absolutely no wind here it is completely radiated. looking at regional observations I cannot find any other area where the wind is calm but the wind is definitely completely calm here right now.at ground level. CT Rain
right at the break of dawn I have no doubts that I was completely radiated briefly here. There wasn't much radiating this morning... but your thermometer should be a bit over 6 feet. On good radiating nights there can be a big difference between 3 feet and 6 feet. CT Valley Snowman
the wind was definitely completely calm for a little while but yes I did look up that my sensor is a bit too low I need to bring it up to about five to six feet I also need to purchase a new mounting bracket. Thanks for the input I want to make sure my readings are accurate

CT Valley Snowman
I'm on the road so I cannot look at the make and model right now but I believe it was somewhere in the $50 range it has an indoor monitor that reads temperature relative humidity indoor and outdoor temperaturesand barometer. it has different channels that record memoryfor highs and lows. it also has a small remote sensor that is supposed to be mounted outdoorsin the shade, but I need to purchase a new amount so right now I have it laying flat on a chair about 3 feet above the ground in the shade on the side of the house

Might've hit mid-teens sometime in between. Highs the last 5 days have ranged from 31 to 37, and unless tomorrow sneaks above 39 we should make it thru Saturday at least with 9 sub-40s in a row, not bad for mid November. CoastalWx
I don't think normal LES has ratios that high, but I could be wrong. Maybe in some cases? The nature of LES and convection I think cause ratios to still be high, but aren't true fluff bombs.
