I'm not as experienced with this stuff as you guys on this forum. (As upstate New York sub-forum is dead, it's just me pretty much) But Mr. Niziol posted this on his facebook. Maybe you guys can help me out a little bit. ^_^

Man, I'd love to get out there and chase the Lake Effect. Awesome.

Been looking through your vids for like a half hour

Man, what an ugly set of models to wake up to.  Rain, a few well below normal days (though not extreme temp-wise in the absolute sense), and then a couple torch rainers weekend/next week.

Jerry's booking his return flight to Denver.

22.6/18

Every single point you posted there is incorrect. LOL

You're under a WWA for quite a bit of icing.

Couple days next week stay in the 20's

Euro has a snow event Friday and rigid weekend

1 mild day ahead of fropa Tgiving week

Quite a bit..May not even hit 33 considering BOX always too warm on temps

  • TonightSnow and sleet, mainly after 3am. Patchy fog after midnight. Low around 27. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • MondaySnow, freezing rain, and sleet before 10am, then rain and sleet between 10am and 11am, then rain after 11am. Patchy fog. High near 34. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible.

I'm glad we're in agreement based on the forecast you posted.  There really isn't any icing of note.

ZFP agrees--won't be a big deal.

Tonight Mostly cloudy. Sleet...freezing rain and snow after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation. Not as cool with lows in the upper 20s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.

  • Monday Sleet...freezing rain...rain and snow in the morning... Then rain and freezing rain in the afternoon. Patchy fog. Snow and sleet accumulation up to 1 inch. Ice accumulation around a trace. Cold with highs in the mid 30s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent

On the upside, I might be able to add my first measurable.
