Fantastic skiing yesterday report from a friend in Maine, said midwinter like snow conditions with squalls and flurries most of the day. Couple of warm spring like days then back at it, Great start this year for sure. are you going to Wawa today?

Jeez and I remember days in late November early December driving to Sunday River hoping they had a dozen trails open; sounds like a decent start to the season.

Despite the Debras melting everyone down, it certainly looks great. snowmaking snow is so resilient and a quick recovery will take place.

Oh Ginxy. Yee of eternal weenie hope.

Anyways, this is shaping up to be an interesting 11-15 day. The GEFS sort of show what could happen about a big N-S gradient. EC not as prolific with that, but definitely wasn't as warm as yesterday.

Dude it's been the best start to ski season in years, it's all about the base,no treble.

Still it's better than sunny..Wet and damp..means a cooler feel..and windows in cars will be up with arms inside windows. No yard work in shorts..etc..the type of crap that really pisses people off

I will have my arms out, windows down, and doing yard work. Heck, maybe even grilling. I'll send you pics. The torch is on. Lock in another one before Christmas.

I went yesterday after work for a bit for first day on a few trails. Then I went back later for a Teton Grav Research movie and food. I might go a little later this morning for a few runs
