GYX has nearly all the Maine peeps (sorry, John B.) in the 10-14" color.  I've yet to see a 10"+ snowfall in Nov. - 9.7" on 11/23/11 is tops (and we know how the rest of that winter turned out.)  All 4 places I've lived in Maine have had 10"+ events - 5 in Ft.Kent - since I've moved to Maine, just not while I lived in those locations, and none since 1989.  Maybe we break that barrier tonight?

I like 3-6" which is essentially what BTV has forecast, though maybe a more widespread 4-8" if the GFS/NAM are correct for the northern half to third of VT.

As much as I'd love 8 or more, I think the 3-6" is the right call for the northwestern 1/2 of the state. I just don't see a period of really heavy precip nor a period of good upslope conditions on the back side.  Highres WRF from the Froude page has .5" qpf for Northern Green spine from 7pm to 7am which feels about right.

I like the mid-level tracks...especially for like Sugarbush/Killington over into CNH and up into Maine.

BTV upgraded to a warning for 4-8.

I see that - Winter Storm Warnings have had another push to the northwest, and the projected accumulations map has been tweaked again.  It's always nice to see changes in that direction as the storm draws near
