QVectorman
Anyone know where to find GLAMM and mt. torque products besides the ESRL site? The ESRL says that the meteorologist that was generating them retired and it appears that they have stopped being calculated back on Oct 15. QVectorman
Thanks! Still looking for that elusive mt. torque product. You have any idea how to calculate it or where to find it?
blizzardof96
Anyone know where to find GLAMM and mt. torque products besides the ESRL site? The ESRL says that the meteorologist that was generating them retired and it appears that they have stopped being calculated back on Oct 15. Many wx geeks, including myself have sent emails to esrl regarding the issue. I suggest you do the same as that will encourage them to hopefully fix the issue. WxMidwest
Thanks for your email. We are trying to fix the code now but as Klaus isn't here and it's very complicated code, it has been very hard. We have made some progress but it's not clear it can be done. We do hope to know if it's fixable in the next week or so. If not, we may have some alternatives such as creating a smaller set of AAM products from scratch. It depends on our resources.Cathy Smithanswering for PSD data
phil882
A graduate student at our department has been producing GLAMM products in real time from the GFS final analysis and are relatively similar to the PSD plots: http://www.atmos.albany.edu/student/nschiral/gwo.html
