mitchnick
I remember last year we had a long range discussion thread. 2 weeks+ outlook. I really liked it. Can we/should we do it again? I think so.... http://vortex.plymouth.edu/cgi-bin/gen_grbcalc2.cgi?re=nhem&id=&zoom=.6&ti=0≥=1024x768&mo=ecmwf≤=500&va=hght&in=60&pl=cf&ft=10day&cu=latest&overlay=no&mo=≤=&va=&in=&pl=ln&ft=h24&cu=latest

As for the 2+ week outlook thread, I think it's a good idea, but let's wait for now. I think the current disco thread + the winter thread has been good for now. T. August
Currently 43F inland, and 48F on the water. 51F was the high today, beating this fall's lowest max temp by 1 degree.
Amped
Next run will move the 498dm Polar Vortex off of Virgina beach and we will get a Quadruple Phaser Biblical East Coast Snowstorm. But just seeing that in southern Canada does sort of remind me of the 1950 storm.

WxUSAF
I'm just going to assume everyone's not in mid-winter form yet and therefore didn't see the 12z Euro's Day 8 coast storm with 850s <0C.

I hope somebody posts a snow map. I'd like to keep a running total of Euro 7-10 day modeled snow. I'll bet it could rival the Cascades.

Not sure about right at 192h, but at 180, temps are in the upper 30s to near 40 for most of the area per Wunderground.
