...NEW RECORD SET FOR THE EARLIEST SNOWFALL AT THE COLUMBIA METRO
AIRPORT...

A NEW RECORD HAS BEEN SET FOR THE EARLIEST OFFICIAL SNOWFALL...NOT
MEASURABLE SNOWFALL...AT COLUMBIA METRO AIRPORT. THE NEW RECORD IS
A TRACE OF SNOW ON NOVEMBER 1ST 2014.

THE OLD RECORD FOR THE EARLIEST OFFICIAL SNOWFALL...NOT MEASURABLE
SNOWFALL...AT COLUMBIA WAS A TRACE OF SNOW ON NOVEMBER 9TH 1913.

DAILY RECORDS DATE BACK TO 1887 IN THE COLUMBIA AREA.

34 was the low here with frost.

Very impressive, seriously. I think AYS' status as far as cold is concerned has risen immensely. ;) But in all seriousness, a 34 at AYS is nothing about which to sneeze! I mean you beat Sav's 36 and tied ATL's 34 for goodness sakes! It tied nearby Alma. As a result of this 34 at AYS, nobody at this forum will be allowed to make fun of it for the entire month of November. If someone violates this, the punishment will be that you will have to take Tony's moles to Waycross and live there for a whole week.

Edit: Also, you beat FFC's 35! Maybe you can tell us how you accomplished this. What has Waycross changed to do this well? ;)
