Wow just got home. We have an inch of snow already and just pouring. Temp down to 27 degrees and this is some of the heaviest snow iv seen all winter.

A little bit of snow on the roofs and such in Townsend, Tn. A lot more just above us.

Surprised to see white ground, roofs, and cars. Nothing more than a dusting, but I guess I haven't been paying attention.

Looks like mid winter out there. We ended up with 1.5 inches of snowfall with a low of 20 degrees. Love this weather.

Wow very impressive low this morning of 13 degrees! Maybe because we still have snow on the ground that helped with max cooling.

Still a lot of the 6.5" of snow that fell Thursday night through Saturday morning was still on the ground in the Smoky's Sunday morning.

Looks like that's it fellows. We're making the our annual pilgrimage to Salter Path on the weekend of the 25th. As always, enjoyed following the winter weather with you people. Have a great summer and we'll meet up again come Oct.

Yeah I think the snow chances are just about over. We will have a frost/freeze come this weekend but looks like spring is mostly setting in. Take care and have a great summer Joe!

On the bright side, with the snow season ending, the mountain convection season is about to begin. Duke U. still have one rain gauge on my mtn top to record rainfall there from the storms. Unfortunately, the data isn't online and somebody has to go up there every few months to download the data manually.
