they just issued early dismissal at noon. Most everything is white here. We are back to light snow know but temp down to 31 degrees. If this keeps up we will see a few inches.

I know Madison, Mitchell, Yancey, Avery and Watauga were all closed today and Swain closed at 10.  Looks like Haywood County will be the last to dismiss. That's kinda unusual in a NW flow system that they start getting it last.

Yeah it looks like the moisture will pull back to just the boarder counties. Still Snowing At Home But Blue Skies Here At work.

Looks like to me though that the moisture is not even making it into TN now from Kentucky, getting eat up.  On campus at UNCA they are reporting an inch.  Little surprise for the valley folks!

nice! Congrats to UNCA! Well one thing is that these locolized bands do not show up well on radar. That's when you know the moisture is really pulling back to the boarder only.

That was me making that one inch report on UNCA Weather Twitter account. What an amazing surprise snow we had today with an inch in just a hour!

Joe right know it looks to be moisture starved. Yeah I would say about the same as yesterday maybe even a little bit less. Right know not mucheck to ride home about. An inch of snow and a low of 12 degrees.

enjoy more flurries and snow showers. Story of the winter.

Thanks guys ! That's what I figured. It really is getting old.
