I would say today is going to be a very nasty day today. We are going to get some very beneficial rains and heavy at times then temps are going to be crashing down very quickly this afternoon with winds howling. I could see a wind advisory come out along with a wind chill advisory because of the dangerous wind chills coming in behind the front.

agreed. I think Cat might scoop up a solid dusting, but it will be more of a flizzard outside with so much wind. stay warm out there these next 48 hours!

Coming down pretty good here in Boone with some ferocious winds as well!

Are you that guy with a drone? If that's the case, I just want to say I really like your newest aerial video on ski resorts! Keep up the good work :)

Yeah good event, got flakes in Candler. Nam 4km for the win.

It's already up to 0.5 inch or so. Definitely more than coating so far.

I just went outside using my Kestrel and got 24.1/13.4, which is impressive at this time of year.

EDIT: Grass is almost completely covered. Definitely marking this as an inch of snow.

Pretty impressive little snowfall overnight. We have about an inch of snow. It has covered everything. The grass, driveway, and vehicles. Very very cold also with a current temp of 10 degrees! Wow just amazing for this time of the year. This is our third snow of the year already and I expect some records to be broken today and tomorrow morning.
