As expected, euro holding the dual low evolution. Guidance is fairly uniform now. A shame to waste such a nice closed ull to a strung out and east solution.

ETA: euro hanging on to gusts in the upper 30's (low 40's east and also on ridges) on Sunday. With temps in the 40's it should feel like we are getting close to winter.

Well looks like the crappy H5 track will verify. The Carolina coast will have a better chance of seeing snow mixing in then here.

This would have been a nice setup if either The troff went negative earlier, or if the Central US ridge wasn't super progressive.

November 1953 had a much more stationary ridge in the center of the country.

That being said the GFS does give some decent snow to the WV higher elevations.

Laughable! I hope JBerks "Atmospheric memory" is not true or we could be DOOMED!

This is a pretty crappy setup for a good storm here. If it was winter I would have written off or at least had very low expectations several days ago.

NS closed ull's can be good hits but diving down over the great lakes is a pretty bad track. Too far east. It's interesting given the track that it can dig south of us. Pretty impressive there.
