ORH_wxman
Not much change from 18z on GFS...though GFS was already pretty far west. It is a bit colder though for E MA.
Ginx snewx
GFS threw a bit more QPF west, held serve I-95 corridor.some Mets are throwing, up that is.

mitchnick
the last NINO, RGEM and NAM did better than the GFS I even remember the ETA doing well back in the 02/03 NINO being early to the game (relatively speaking) with the 12/5 event if nothing else, we'll get another chance to see which models perform best in this winter's regime maybe

CoastalWx
I'll tell you what, GFS has tremendous lift along the back bent WF. Get into that, and it's a white out.

Boston Bulldog
Hmmm, starting to look interesting down here. Hypothetically, when would BOS and surrounding areas flip to snow according to the modeling??
wxjim207
Oh wow. GFS holds that snow band right along the south coast of Maine into the Midcoast and DE. While NAM brings it into the entire coast. No matter what it all looks to be snow. Question now is where does that band set up. Oh its not like we have been pulling our hair out over this. ORH_wxman
QPF that falls as snow on the RGEM....
weathafella
I can't remember, but are those SV maps typically reliable? I don't think any of them are but the consensus from the models seen so far tonight is 2-3/4 for many of us. I'll be happy to see flakes but truthfully now my expectations are higher. CoastalWx
That's not even funny on the RGEM.

TauntonBlizzard2013
That's not even funny on the RGEM. Its essentially a mini snow bomb for southeast ma up through the north shore. Even parts of rhode island
