wxjim207
Is the JMA on board? I'd say the 12z JMA is similar to the 12z Euro.
ROOSTA
36 or even 37 is "snowable" given heavier fall rates... I have actually seen rain/snow mix at 39 in heavy synoptics, and grapple showers at 52 I was with the knowledge of thinking that pure snow falling threshold is 39F? dryslot
At this juncture, The 18z GFS Ensembles are probably of not much use in this tight, But they looked a hair west of the op with the heavier rates with low
Typhoon Tip
Noticing rad is dramatically drying N of the Pike ... Noticing cloud tops cooling S of LI and what appears to be a new baroclinic leaf expanding N of the intense deep layer vortex leaving the Carolinas... suspect the drying up here and the expansion S is on schedule for the low down that way taking over and temporarily or even permanently shutting things down ... It depends on on how far west the CCB head bulges as it makes it's pass Sunday morning as to whether things will resume for these NW zones. TalcottWx
Can see second low appearing to pinhole east of the outerbanks. ULL seems to be still swinging in behind it and trailing. Quicker it stacks and bombs the better.
