wxeyeNH
Looking at the NAM seems cold enough for me up here in Central NH for snow this evening, at least at my elevation
CoastalWx
It doesn't look too hot south of the pike. Seems like obvious spots in ORH county/ NE MA, and down to BOS maybe as Scott suggested. I think our south of pike friends are too far.. well.. south. Well the cold gets pulled SW so even the hills if nrn CT may get flakes if a band of precip lingers. Damage In Tolland
That fronto band looks like it wants to linger well into the night over CT up to ORH . Just sort of sits there and rots overhead. Might be interesting
TalcottWx
Well the cold gets pulled SW so even the hills if nrn CT may get flakes if a band of precip lingers. Stressing the need for lift.. Would seem to be difficult. Cold air moves in for them but best lift will be moving out. I bet Kev sees flakes though
CT Rain
That fronto band looks like it wants to linger well into the night over CT up to ORH . Just sort of sits there and rots overhead. Might be interesting I wish it was more impressive. Looks good on radar but it's all bright banding. Hourly rates are quite meh under it.

CoastalWx
RPM has 0 frozen for SNE. Or CNE for that matter Because it keeps the stuff today heavier in ern and SE areas and then just misses with storm 2.
eyewall
Columbia, SC is reporting their earliest snowfall on record this morning.
CoastalWx
GFS is a tick west with the second low, but also brings in a bit more warmer air aloft. It's a race, but gets the CCB to SE MA.
bobbutts
Looking at the NAM seems cold enough for me up here in Central NH for snow this evening, at least at my elevation Yup, nam looks good. I thought it was interesting on wmur's forecast they show a few models and the first one is a wide view showing snow and mix for NH, I think it may be the GFS. Then they go to the zoom in view, RPM I presume and it's all rain.

TalcottWx
hires models bring in a heavy band around 8pm tonight. Not sure if the reflectivity products are showing bright banding or not.

TalcottWx
CCB definitely involves eastern mass. Not in the heavy chunk of it, but very close. I mean, Scott's house in weymouth may have drifting/blowing snow that run
wxeyeNH
Drizzle and slowly falling temps. 37.2/34 temp slowly falling. Mount Washington auto road is all below freezing so it will be interesting to see what happens when real precip gets to me in the next hour or so
weathafella
All going according to plan. Nice robust coastal production as Tip mentions. Seems like we're developing a 2002esque entry into winter. Hoping for flakes. Will have to get some dew depression first.

I'm on duty tonight so this is a big deal for me.

Hard to see on wxbell but 6+ at BOS if these snow maps are correct with second wave? LOL.
CoastalWx
I'm not doing anything unless the euro goes west. I've seen this before too.
