TonyLovesSnow
parallel is a tad east but wetall I know, it's a big storm, the models have been underperforming with temperatures. Also one point id like to add that daytime is shrinking at least 5 minutes a day and if this storm doesn't make a surprise turn than be it...we'll have more chances but it's a great start. Also it's humid out there; very juicy atmosphere for a big storm! It's raining nicely in NYC!

powderfreak
First winter storm watch of the season hereThe Watch is for 1-3"? You know it's for the potential but interesting wording. Point and click and zones look odd too with only a 30% chance of snow and no accums. Talk about uncertainty.
wxjim207
Such low confidence in the forecast and models. Thats why the watches are up. The potential. Smart call by GYX

Smart call by GYX Yeah it's an interesting situation to be in for like a 24 hour forecast. I agree with the watch too...was just thinking you'd make the forecast jive with the watch to some degree. ORH_wxman
I'm wondering if places like ORH up to Monads flip to wet snow late this afternoon with round 1? The problem is that some guidance is hitting the lift pretty hard with this and others are pretty mundane with light precip. I don't think we get much with round 2...only Maine looks to get anything there..
