We are the grinch of the neighborhood. This hood looked better than spooky world....like it was an amusement park. I've never seen people go all out on their house. People hiding in shrubs and boats scaring the sh * t out of kids. Cars driving slow around with dead bodies inside blasting Jason music. And we had no decorations here lol. I'll have to change that next year. Bryce wasn't too into it, but had a good time.

Yup raining pretty hard here under this shower..It started right as they went out. Parents muttering WTF to selves as the forecasts had cloudy until they changed it at 5:00 lol

Yup all I heard was other parents saying how "they said it wasn't going to rain."

I lol'd to myself, then realized I was soaking wet and cold.

Earlier today the best analog on that site was a huge NW flow upslope event, and CIPS had 60%< probability of 6+ inches just east of BTV lol. Talk about jumping around.

Yeah they honestly don't hold much value except maybe to give you a possible idea. Kind of fun to weenie out and look at, but not much more.

You gotta stop basing snow off those terrible algorithm maps. Yeah Long Island will get snow.

I'm not defending the snow maps but you do realize how these storms with west-east pre-type gradients work right? Western Long Island and NYC will get colder first before eastern southern New England.

If you look at the GFS from 18z, that area of Long Island has say 0.05" of precip in an all snow column from the developing second low, while your area is dry once the snow column moves in. Again not defending the snow maps or that solution, but verbatim Ginxy is right in that's what it shows.
